Are you fascinated by the process of creating paper? Then mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11th, when we're hosting an open day at our papermaking studio. Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the art of papermaking and the chance to try your hand at it.
Explore the Papermaking Process
From 12:30 to 5:00 PM, you're invited to visit our studio located at Oostzijde 302 (De Bedrijvige Bij). Our expert, Aline, will be leading guided tours at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to provide an in-depth explanation of the papermaking process. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of this centuries-old craft.
Scoop Your Own Paper
If you've ever wanted to try your hand at papermaking, this is your chance! During the open day, you'll have the opportunity to scoop your own paper. Immerse yourself in the tactile experience of creating your own unique sheet of paper, a one-of-a-kind keepsake from your visit.
We'll also have a selection of handmade paper products available for purchase, so you can take a piece of our studio home with you.
